Weekly round up 29th July 2014

I'm working on some large pieces and commissions so not a lot of time for anything else this last week. However, here are some pictures from my sketchbook:

A Happy Day

From my sketchbook: Unless you've been hiding under a rock, and even then I'd be impressed if you hadn't heard the news, a new prince was born yesterday. Today the world got its first glimpse of the royal baby and I'm sure he waved! 

Whatever your thoughts on royalty, becoming a parent and bringing a new baby into the world should be a joyous occasion. It feels like the UK has latched onto this joy with tightly gripped hands.
